Pisces, my divine Pisces, we’re in spooky season. It’s October, time for getting cosy with candlelight, snuggling under blankets and doing the romantic things you enjoy. Let’s see if the planets support that.

We kick off with Venus retrograde. It wants you to remember the times you explored things you loved and did something different from your routine. You thought, “Oh, I love this. I’m going to explore it and stretch myself.” Funnily enough, going back to something you love and exploring it in a new way could give you those cosy vibes.

Mars trines your ruler, Neptune, and says, “Right, let’s get secure, create abundance and feel stable in ourselves.” If fears from the past or existential angst come up, notice where your thoughts are taking you. By existential angst, I mean thinking, “What if this happens? What if that happens?” Your thoughts are one of the most powerful things about you.

Turn them towards self-love and positivity for your future. Honour your emotions. If you feel sad, be sad. There’s also so much positivity here that you deserve to enjoy, so give yourself room for that too.

Mercury Joins Venus

Mercury joins Venus, bringing adventure and perhaps an unexpected opportunity. You might decide to visit somebody in your family, or a friend who feels like family but lives further away. You think, “Oh, I’m doing it,” and off you go.

New Moon in Libra

The New Moon in Libra is intense. How powerful do you feel? Is there anybody you’ve given your power away to? Is there a financial power imbalance you’re working on? You’re releasing fears and moving to the next level. Trust your power on this New Moon and look at what you’re ready to release, including thoughts that make you feel powerless.

Around the 15th and 16th, the Sun in Libra sextiles your traditional ruler, Jupiter. You’re getting things done, working hard and being diligent. Mars trines Saturn, so what you’re building lasts. You’re building on firm foundations, and hopefully there’s a reward around that time. Fingers crossed.

Mercury Retrograde & Exploration

Mercury goes retrograde later in the month as the Sun joins Venus, and you’re off on a big adventure again. You want to do things differently. Listen to that voice. Whatever you want to explore, however small or large, give it some thought. Exploring is a theme for you this month.

Venus returns to Libra, and strong desires or emotions may come up that are linked to your past. You may need to pick through the times you felt lust, passion, obsession, jealousy or desire, and see how you’ve grown through those experiences. Is there anything there you’re ready to release? Remember that you’re equal to everybody else, and as sensual and exciting as anybody. When you know that inside, you radiate it.

Full Moon in Taurus

We end with the Full Moon in Taurus, opposing the Sun in Scorpio. You’re having conversations about what you want to do and explore. Before having them, use your most powerful tool: your intuition. Sense what’s right for you and write it down. If somebody challenges you, you’ll have your reasons in front of you.
